Data Recovery:
$75 for a basic tranfer onto one disk.
$100-$125 base charge for a transfer from one computer to another.
+$25 per media or size increment (0-500MB, 500MB-4.5GB, 4.5GB-40GB, per 40GB)
Additional charges apply for a storage fee if we are required to keep the backup over 30 days.
Long difficult and arduous recoveries run $125-$300, beyond this you will need professional help like Drivesavers.
Costs come down some if you provide an external hard disk with enough free space (blank preferred).
We can do a lot of basic data transfer, and some data recovery. We do not have a clean room or a large stock of controller parts so this limits the level of the "recovery" we can do. However we can still recover data a lot of the time.
If the drive grinds or make excessive noise the chance of our getting data is low but not impossible. If your data is worth thousands to you it would be better to go directly to a data recovery professional like Drivesavers, with reference number DS10108. However they generally charge thousands for the recover ($800 to $3500 typical). Our evaluation is cheapand we may be able to help. At $100 base for a data recovery this is a great deal.
